Sorry for the absence, but I’ve been a bit taken up with trying to figure out some “career” development direction. The past year and a half has been filled with ups and downs aplenty, and I’ve truly enjoyed the opportunity to engage with the online community once again. I imagine, at this point, that I always will in one way or another.
I will continue to be writing things when there are things to be written, and I am continuing to explore other projects. But, at this point, I must be fully devoted to the job search process, and, as such, have found myself lacking in time and focus to continue fully engaging the blog.
Thanks to everyone for the engagement over these 500 posts since I re-started the blog in February, but — save for major developments that catch my attention — follow me on Twitter and await news of my next steps.

Move out to San Francisco. You could easily become our next mayor. Everyone knows you through lawdork.net!
OT, but I was wondering if you might have some insight: Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Homophobe — I mean, Oklahoma) is trying to gin up opposition to health care reform among gay people, on the premise that government involvement *decreased* access to medical services for people with HIV/AIDS. For me, this is just a giant WTF? but he ran it in The Advocate.
