Strickland, a minister, is causing Ohio to be compared to George Bush's Texas as the killing capital in the country. I feel shame and confusion and sadness. For me the honeymoon is over. These people do not represent my values any more. Maybe they never did. Another question is how can the death penalty be called conservative? To me conservative has to do with "conserving"life, not destroying life. Maybe I don't understand what the pro-life movement is all about either. We certainly do live in strange, schizoid times. Gov.
