Aaron Tveit, profiled here in the Seattle Times, is premiering the role of Frank Abagnale, Jr., in the new musical, Catch Me If You Can, which is to open in Seattle tonight for a three-week run.  (The originally scheduled first two shows, to have been Thursday and Friday, were canceled due to a family emergency of one of the stars, Tony Award-winner Norbert Leo Butz.)  Tveit most recently played the role of Gabe in Broadway’s Next to Normal.

On this rainy, chill, Seattle-like Saturday here in Columbus, find a song from “a first look” at the show below the jump.

Check out the father-son duet, “Butter Out of Cream.”  The role of Frank Sr., is sung by Tom Wopat.

If you liked that, be sure to check out Aaron singing another of the show’s songs, “Home is Where You Are.”
