More to the point, though – I thought Polis is trying to protect small businesses from the surtax. I didn’t see where Polis says the surtax on rich individuals should not be used to pay for part of health care reform. [Personally, I'd rather some tax be imposed on employer-provided healthcare benefits, but guess that puts me in the minority.]
