More opposition to Palin’s pick for Attorney General:
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin’s choice for attorney general has been unanimously rejected by at least two Alaska Native groups.
An Alaska Federation of Natives committee voted unanimously Wednesday to oppose Wayne Anthony Ross.
. . . .
Also on Wednesday, the Association of Village Council Presidents voted to pass a resolution of its own rejecting Ross.
And, excitingly, we find out from this article that the lawmakers have to approve Palin’s pick — and have set the vote for April 16! Is there a chance they could vote Ross down, or is this more pro forma? On what basis could a negative vote be given? Anyone?
