NY (and NY and Others)

TPM, as expected, will have up-to-the-minute results from today’s special election in NY-20, the seat vacated due to the appointment of Kirsten Gillibrand to the Senate.  The New York Times today reported, in a lengthy piece from Adam Nagourney, on how “special elections tend to get more attention and analysis than they deserve.”

I, meanwhile, am recovering from a 10-day trip out of Ohio and through 10 other states and one District (via car, train and/or foot) — CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA and WV — and will be back tomorrow.
