Portman is Cheney's No. 1 Guy

Former Vice President Dick Cheney, on State of the Union with John King, c/o Hotline On Call:

Cheney, on his future: “I don’t have any plans to run for office. I also don’t have any plans to retire. We’ve got a lot of good folks out there. I think a new generation of leaders is coming along, people like Rob Portman in Ohio, Mark Sanford in South Carolina, Eric Cantor and Paul Ryan in the House. There are some really, really talented people in the Republican Party. And I look forward to helping them someday if they need my help in terms of whatever I can do to see them succeed” (”State of the Union,” 3/15).

Yes, Cheney, just keep on reminding everyone how close Portman was/is with you and the former President.  Keep it up.
