They're left standing on the sidelines throwing stones and whining that they are left on the sidelines. I think moderate and independent voters like having some sort of opposition to the Dems in Congress to keep them in check, but that doesn't mean those key voters have the slightest faith in Republicans to actually fix the mess they got us into. On a more personal note, I think Bobby Jindal has a record of being very smart and pragmatic and I really worry he's selling his soul these days. There's a fine line with being responsible stewards of our tax dollars and playing politics with people's lives. Gov. Jindal is ok with the fact that Louisiana is accepting $3.7 billion in federal aid (much Katrina related,) but accepting $3.8 billion in aid is irresponsible and going to destroy Louisiana business.
